Spooky Update

TB was supposed to have an epidural yesterday to relieve the pain he's in. However, the doctor wants him to try physical therapy (in a pool) first and to lose weight. When you are fat, you get two kinds of doctors: one who will treat you in spite of your weight because they realize how hard it is to lose and the other is the kind who are afraid you will break your equipment if you are too big. Well, there ya go. We got the brutally honest one. This post probably belongs in my Mrs. Spratt blog but I guess I will leave it here because it's got news about all of us. TB went for his first PT appointment today. The actual water therapy will take place at the Y about 20 miles from here (why is everything so freaking far away?) and we decided to check into memberships for us. The good news is that the Y offers financial aid! That's great news for us!

Linda got laid off again and is looking for work. None of the temp agencies that she's been using seem to have any work for her. She made herself a Halloween costume and is going trick or treating with Little T later. I'm going to take some pictures before they go out and hopefully will post them here before the end of the evening. Kristin is going trick-or-treating too with friends of hers...isn't 15 getting too old for that? Well...it's better than getting into mischief, right? She did a great job carving a pumpkin for tonight!

Billy and Heidi seem to be doing well in their classes. Everyone's been helping out a lot more.

Little T has learned how to blow kisses! He is so adorable!

The cats are all in the Land of Zen and don't care it's Halloween.

I may not be posting often in the upcoming month because, once again, I'm attempting NaNoWriMo!

Learning to blow kisses - what more useful skill could one have!

I sympathise with doctors who specialize and have no conception of each other's discipline!
Best wishes
