I know this is supposed to be Wordless Wednesday but I'm concerned about a couple of comments I've gotten from readers who say when they click on my blog they're directed away to another website. This has happened to my husband several times too. We're not affiliated with any other website so I can't imagine why that should happen! I'm definitely taking it up with Blogger!

Comments and when will the check be in the mail?

If you don't see your comment show up right away don't worry. I removed the stupid verification code because it's become so difficult to decipher. That means, though, that I have to approve the comments so that I am not totally spammed. It may take a while since I spend so much of my time at the doctors' offices. :P

A lot of us are wondering: when are we getting our IRS stimulus checks? I had no idea and kept checking my bank account. Then my good friend Nancy in Pittsburgh sent me a link that explains when I could expect my check. It won't come too soon: May 16th.

People who use direct deposit also will be among the first to receive the payments starting April 28. Direct deposits will be made daily and completed by the date listed below:
DIRECT DEPOSIT

Last two SSN digits: Payments will be transmitted no later than:
00 through 20 May 2
21 through 75 May 9
76 through 99 May 16




Paper checks will also go out based on Social Security number. For Social Security numbers ending in 00 through 09, the paper checks will be mailed starting May 9 and will continue through May 16. A similar process will be repeated in the following weeks.

10 through 18 May 23

19 through 25
May 30
26 through 38 June 6
39 through 51 June 13
52 through 63 June 20
64 through 75 June 27

People who file a return after April 15 will receive their economic stimulus payment, but probably about two weeks later than the schedule shows. A return must be filed by October 15 in order to receive a stimulus payment this year. See the online calculator for an estimate of the amount you will receive.

A small percentage of tax returns will require additional time to process and to compute a stimulus payment amount. For these returns, stimulus payments may not be issued in accordance with the schedule above, even if the tax return was processed by April 15.

Man Cat Monday: Don't You Hate It When...

...you make this nice post for Man Cat Monday complete with pictures and then when you go to upload not only does it crash, it totally loses your whole post, including the draft! Waaaaah! Try try again....but later!

Well...here we are again, let's see if this works! Originally, this was going to be called the Man Cat Monday Leftovers Edition.



Here, Kosmo and Sox are still getting to know each other. Sox hasn't figured out yet that there are times you just don't invade Kozzie's space!


Sox & Cubby: Ooooh, Daddy Bean, what's you got in your hand there? It looks and smells pretty good! Could it be .... Temptations?


Feeding frenzy! Kosmo says, what's that on your tail, Sox? Could it be a Temptation???


Sox and Cubby snuggle up together, bonded brothers and great buddies!



It's been a long day! Kosmo says zzzzzzzzz!

Now these are not Man Cats but they are of a manly persuation and partly why we're posting late.



Little T's mommy has no car at the moment. First one was repossessed. The second one--a new/used car--seems to have disappeared. What happened to it? It broke down but she was also behind in the payments. Anyway, T was not thrilled with the automatic sliding doors on Pop-Pop's car. They didn't work right for him.


No, no, Nana, no pictures! The blurred motion is the little guy waving his hand around to indicate "NO!" But I can't resist taking pictures of my Little T, mad or not.


TB sez, I need a haircut. I look like a shaggy woofie.

Cassie says she's seen longer hair than that but okay.


Off we go to our local colorful barber, Ernie, where we can be sure to be entertained with country music and a conservative talk show. Today I happened to agree with the topics of discussion!



And here we are post-cut. Lookin good, TB, but then you always look good to me!
