More Remodeling

I posted on my original blog, Scribblings, that we'd been remodeling our house for most of May. The work continues but I figured I would share a little. These pictures were taken from the start of the projects to about the halfway point two weeks ago. There are more pictures to come!

I cannot say enough good things about Dan Giordano and his crew. An inspector for Pemberton Township recommended him to us when part of our ceiling collapsed due to poor workmanship on our roof. That contractor, John Sorrentino, is under indictment for fraud and other charges and there are a whole bunch of people mad at him. Dan originally came in to repair the roof and then returned a few weeks later to do our indoor remodeling requests. He and his crew tore down the old damaged ceiling, put up the sheetrock, the new ceiling, put up a new wall in Heidi's humongous room to split it in two, installed a new air conditioner for us in the living room ... Dan Giordano is a terrific contractor, very professional and careful and courteous, and we wish him a lot of success--and he is very very busy with lots of work!
