And if that wasn't enough...

If you have diabetes, eating spaghetti made from regular flour and having garlic bread on top of that is just asking for trouble! Three hours after eating said meal, my sugar is 243. Of course, I am also stressed out so that doesn't help. Stress raises sugar levels too. Anyway, from now on I must remember to eat whole wheat spaghetti, not the regular carb packed crap.

It's just been a wild weekend.

I thought Little T was going on vacation with his dad next week but all of a sudden I find out it's been changed to this week. That part of it is okay. I have many doctor appointments which would be boring for the little guy. It's been raining the last two days too and there is nothing worse than being cooped up in the house with nothing to do but watch TV. Ugh. I'm hoping T is having a wonderful time up in Lake George.

I don't know what is going on in Tennessee but it ain't great. I don't feel comfortable going into details here but I'll tell you, it doesn't matter how old a child is you still worry when bad things happen--even when they are 30 and up. It's a very touchy situation so although I want to call and make sure all is well I don't feel comfortable doing it for fear of making everything worse. TB and Linda are in the same boat. I have to say though that this isn't driving me as crazy as it would if the mess were "in my face", meaning here in this house or next door or something.

So it goes.

I hear you about the diabetes and eating spaghetti.
My husband and I both have diabetes and the pasta gets us everytime!
I am going to try that whole wheat pasta and see how that is.
Thanks for posting about that.
