Topics:
list…

1. 1. 5 useless bits of trivia, that you know, or find interesting.

a. Michael J. Pollard played one of the gangsters in Bonnie and Clyde and he was also the airplane mechanic in The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming. Why is this important? It became a running joke for several years because I could recall that little bit of trivia and then people would say, "Who's that?" "It's Michael J. Pollard."

b. Huddles and baseball signals came about because there needed to be a way to communicate with deaf athletes using made up signals so the other side wouldn't understand what was being said

c. Were Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street named for Bert the cop and Ernie the taxi driver in It's A Wonderful Life or is it just coincidence? I don't think it's coincidence they share the same names.

d. "Beelzebub", another name for the devil, is Hebrew for "Lord of the Flies". Aha.

e. Remember Mr. Rogers from kids' TV? He was an ordained minister, Presbyterian I think.
2. 2. 5 things you did to celibrate easter.

a. Prayed
b. Made a special dinner
c. Reflected on the Eaater story
d. Bought tulips to plant
e. Talked to relatives out of state

3. 3. 5 songs stuck in your head, right at the moment your posting this.

a. Boom Boom Ain't It Great To Be Crazy
b. Skidaraminky dink
c. I'm Gonna Drive My Car by Laurie Berkner
d. Bumble Bee song by Laurie Berkner
e. Telephone song by Laurie Berkner

There's a reason these are kid songs: my little grandson. He just loves Laurie Berkner and so we play her music most of the time

4. 4. 5 of your pet’s names, (they can be pets from the past.)

Or how about right now, we have 8 of them! In ABC order, the first 5:

a. Amber
b. Buddy
c. Cubby
d. Indigo
e. Kosmo

5. 5. 5 sounds you hear right now, (if there are 5.)

a. I've got a Cher CD in my stereo now
b. birds singing
c. cat collars tinkling
4. cat food crunching
5. tippy tap tap of keyboard

10 Things to Do Before You Get Married

Other than the actual planning and arranging? Let's see:

1. Fight a lot with your fiance and wonder if you are making a mistake (heh)
2. Look at tons of bridal magazines to get ideas for what you want in your wedding
3. Look for a new place to live for after you get married
4. Watch what you eat...stress is high but if you eat too much you won't fit into your wedding dress!
5. Go out a lot--dinner, movies, etc. You won't get to do that as much and especially not after the kids start arriving!
6. Have a bachelor or bachelorette party with a designated driver
7. Start a memory scrapbook
8. Make lots of lists, you'll need them
9. Learn how to relax if you don't already know how...lots of things may go wrong, you have to go with the flow
10. Always say "I love you" at the end of the evening to your intended
