As for why a gross? I didn't get it at first either, but someone else pointed out that a gross is a dozen dozens. Which is 144. Which is the number of this week's edition of the Thursday Thirteen.

My husband is going to Israel for three weeks. One of my worries while he is away is that I have to unclog the toilets when they back up! Ewwwwwwww.

Ew, yep, icky, yucky, gross. The meatloaf thing doesn't bother me so much for being gross, but sometimes it's just too cold.
