Today was Grandparents' Day at Little T's school. I know the day is usually celebrated in October or some month like that but the school has an annual breakfast for the grands to come and visit the kids in their classes and participate in activities with them. TB and I enjoyed ourselves so much! There was a nice breakfast, a wonderful slide show of the first few days of school, and then the chorus (3rd and 4th graders) entertained us with selections from the upcoming winter concert. We can't call them Christmas or holiday concerts anymore. :P Okay, so then we went back to Little T's class for an hour. In the picture, T and I are spreading frosting on a cookie. It gives him practice using utensils and is also sensory because there were sprinkles and what have you to push into the icing. He was a little dismayed to have icing on his fingers--until he realized how good it tasted! :D We did some other sensory integration and skill building activities too--those teachers and aides must be ready to drop at the end of the day because we were constantly moving!
We had our Grandparents Day the Friday before Thanksgiving. We have our special Grandparent's Chapel, breakfast, games, and the fall book fair is that week too so they have a special event there for the Grands and kidlets. Since Scott doesn't have any grandparents, he always feels a little left out...but he isn't the only one with none there (for whatever reason) and they try to not make those without Grands there to feel left out of the fun. This year I helped out in my tods class. It was fun meeting the Grandparents of my little guys.
T is getting so big...I remember when he was born...and all the stuff afterwards. I am glad that you have him in your life so much now. I have so much to catch up on with you...I have been so bad with reading journals since I am working so much. I signed on with Blogger and still have my LJ site too (I've been cross posting some) The LJ link is http://texaspeach.livejournal.com/ I slacked off a lot this past year but have been trying to post more often teh past few months. Hopefully I can keep it up...and keep track of my reads too.

Since I'm new in the blogging world, would you mind explaining to me what "Wordless Wednesday" means?
Thank you
