Thirteen Things I'm Thinking Now

My Thursday Thirteen:

1. Thank you, God, for watching over our Little T during surgery today
2. Why aren't community hospitals better able to serve kids and adults with special needs? Explanation: Little T has sensory defensive behavior. ID bracelets are bad enough but IVs?
3. Why hasn't there been some improvement on the way IVs are used? I know Little T is not the only kid or adult who's awakened from anesthesia and tried to rip out the line from his hand
4. Why do so many people call when you're already juggling five things?
5. Why don't we have a real winter any more?
6. How the sam hill did we get Jon Corzine as governor?
7. Why are Coke rewards codes so hard to read?
8. Why is it so hard to get organized?
9. Will this ever get cleaned up?

10. Or this?

11. Will paper come out if I hit print?

12. Is the gang plotting a coup?

13. Baby Face, you've got the cutest little Baby Face!

I hope Little T is doing better now! And I agree with #3. When Spidey had corrective eye surgery last year, he freaked OUT when he saw the IV. Poor kid.

The gang members look like they're putting on innocent faces, but I know better ;)

We will be praying that the procedures bring some relief for T! Hope the litterbox mutiny is settling down, too...

I followed your button to the blog group for parents of autistic children. I don't know why they can't work a little harder to be more solicitous to the needs of autistic children but maybe there just isn't a better way when it comes to IV's. The boy has had two surgeries but when he woke up he just screamed a lot so luckily we haven't had to deal with the IV thing. I like your cats and obviously large number of books. Sounds like my kind of house.

That Abilify bottle and package would eventually go away in this house, but the rest of it would be waiting for me to clean it up. Medicine always gets moved to the kitchen counter...

Hope T is doing better.

It should've been "14"...

adding

"why is life getting so complicated, confused, messy, demanding, difficult, stressful, and on and on and on... ?"

perhaps the cats have the RIGHT idea with planning a cat coup...
