Sunday Sundries: The Swarm & Other Things

Thanks to everyone who sent prayers and well wishes for us, we really appreciate it! And TB's legs are responding to the new antibiotic! :D And now for something completely different:

See Mouse sleep. Sleep, Mouse, sleep.
Sox and Cubby are asleep too.
Sleep, sleep, sleep.

(crinkle, crinkle)
See Cubby's eye open.
Oh, what is that crinkle, crinkle, crinkle?
Is it a snack?

Oh, look here, look here, Daddy dear has got a treat!
Open the bag, Daddy dear, and give me some. Now, now, now!

Give me a treat before Mouse.
Give me a treat before Sox.
I was here first.
Give give give.

Oh, daddy dear, we are all so hungry! Please give us all a treat right away!
See us eat the treats. Eat, eat, eat.
Hear us purr. Purr, purr, purr!

What book is on your nightstand now? Tell us about it, post a blurb. If you’re reading it, do you like it? If you haven’t started, what are your expectations? Would you recommend it to a good friend? What type of stories do you like to read the most often? Why?

Right now I'm reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling. It's the last in the series of books about Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived after the very evil Lord Voldemort killed his parents and tried very hard to kill him. In this book, Harry's got his last chance to defeat the evil Voldemort and save everyone. I would recommend it to anyone who's been reading the series...you really have to read them in order. I tend to like Oprah Winfrey's picks above all other books because they tend to have a lot of character development in them. I seem to enjoy those books more than the plot driven books.

I loved the progression of cat photos. Maggie flips out when I get out her faux bacon treats. Animals are so wonderful!

Yea! Glad to hear the medicine is finally working! Hugs and prayers, as always...

As for books... I just finished the new Mary Higgins Clark suspense novel, _Where Are You Now?_ It was a serious page-turner, as hers always are. Just before that I read the new one from her daughter, Carol Higgins Clark, _Zapped_ Also a light-hearted suspense, full of sarcastic humor - awesome! Highly recommend both!!! Got them one at a time from the library on 1 week loans (gulp) so had to read fast! :-)
