A Long Four Weeks...

...until we're able to get health insurance for Kristin. NJ Family Care cashed our two months worth of premiums already but her coverage doesn't start until November 1. Makes no sense to me. And Billy and Heidi are without insurance and I worry about what will happen if they get sick--also what will happen when they need refills for their prescriptions.

As for my legs, it's still a mystery. It looks like stasis dermatitis to the nurse practitioner at the dermatologist's office. That's something you get with poor circulation and I didn't think I had that. She gave me an ointment to put on my legs and I'm supposed to go back in two weeks. So far they look and feel exactly the same. My right hip hurts on the inside, toward my groin. I can barely lift my leg and that is very annoying and distressing.

Little T has an ear infection and will be out of school until Thursday.

I'm trying to find the good in all this.

On the up side, Billy landed a third job--this time as a tutor for the school district.

Things are definitely working out well with the little guy and Kennan and us.

The cats have become more affectionate, although they remain camera shy. Hey, I'll take the affection any day. There is something so soothing about petting and stroking a cat. Sox likes to cuddle up with me at all hours of the day and night and that is so comforting.

QOTW

What, if any, historical events occurred during your elementary school days? Middle school? High school?

1963 (third grade): President Kennedy assassinated
1968 (seventh grade): Rev. Martin Luther King and Senator Robert Kennedy assassinated
1972 (twelfth grade): Black September kidnaps and assassinates Israeli wrestling team at the Summer Olympics in Munich

Wish these were better memories :P

Do you daydream? Not as much now as when I was a kid but I still do daydream a bit

Do you work crossword puzzles, solve sudokus or play solitaire? Yes, I find them challenging and fun

Are you into computer games? Which ones? The Sims, Tumblebugs, Chuzzles, Solitaire and many others

Have you ever been busted by the boss for wasting time at work? I didn't think this was wasting time but I had a boss yell at me for listening to the Watergate hearings on my earphones.

Can wasted time ever be valuable? Of course it can, especially if you're wasting time to relax.
