We celebrate Thanksgiving in November. On Facebook, there's an idea going around to express something we're thankful for each day during November. I think it's a great idea, one I'd like to try every week. I'll start with the basics.
1. I am grateful for God's love. He is always there, always loving and caring for me. No matter how bad things get, God is with me.
2. I am grateful for TB, for his loving and supportive presence in my life. He is a true blessing. To have the deep love of one during a lifetime is a blessing. For it to happen twice is a true miracle.
3. I am grateful for the kids, Kristin, Heidi, Bill, Linda and Michele. They are blessings in my life too. I love them and I know they love me.
4. I am grateful for my grandkids Nikolas, Tomas, Taylor, Ryan and Brandon.
5. I am grateful for my wonderful friends. Their love and support means more to me than I could ever express to them.
6. I am grateful for my brother, the one other person who understands what it was like.
7. I am grateful for my cousins and other members of my family.
8. I am grateful for my pastor and my church family.
9. I am grateful for my therapist, who recognized I was at risk.
10. I am grateful for ACOA and its meetings and members because they help me identify my issues and understand them better.
11. I am grateful for the recovery books because they help me figure out how to make changes so that I can get better again
12. I am grateful for the safety I felt at the hospital
13. I am grateful for my cats because I feel so much better when I can hold them and pet them. They seem to know when I need a soft furball to cuddle

Great list.....It is important to take the time to really think about all of the things that we have to be thankful about. Happy Thursday!
Wonderful list, you are lucky to have people who love you, and can and will help you.
