Cats on Tuesday: Remember this gal?

CATS ON TUESDAY is a group of cat lovers who share pictures and/or stories about their cats once a week, hosted by Gattina.



I woke up at 1 a.m. and haven't been able to get back to sleep. I have no idea why but on the up side, I found myself with lots of free time to get a Cats on Tuesday together in a timely manner!

Remember this beauty? I haven't blogged about her in, well, over a year (at least) because up until recently she was living upstairs in Kristin's room. During the month of June, Kristin began purging her room of unnecessary items and wanted a "safe" place for Indy. Indy is not sociable at all. She does not want to have anything to do with the other cats and that's why we never saw her. We let her stay in our room with the door closed for two weeks until she became acclimated and now we're re-introducing herself to the rest of the gang. She is not happy with any of them but is comfortable enough in here not to dash up the stairs and hide. For right now, I'll say "so far, so good"!

I also had some pictures of TB and Mouse playing together but then I decided to let Indy have this week's spotlight to herself.

Each day has been lovelier and warmer than the day before, a welcome break from all the rain and wind we've had recently. The cats will always find the sunniest spot in which to nap and the warmer the better! Here Munchkin found a spot on our bedroom floor and she ain't movin!

Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos: Favorite Games

Here we are on Sunday morning polling our furry friends about which games they enjoy the best for the Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos which will appear sometime tonight on The New Tuxedo Gang Hideout.

So...gang...what is your favorite game?

Indigo (from upstairs): Hiding!



Kosmo: My first favorite is an empty box. Oh, I have so much fun with an empty box!



Amber: My favorite is that fish on a line. I love it when I pull on it and it bounces back and then flies around!



Kosmo: Yes, that's my next favorite toy, the fishie...and after that, the cat teaser!



Mouse: I like anything with a string, whether it's got a fish attached or not!




Sox says: I really like this mouse in a ski cap. I like the ones I can hold in my paws and roll around with.

What about you, Cubby?


My favorite game is hide-and-peek right now but I also like the cat teaser and the fishy!



Mouse: And I have a tale to tell about Sox. He likes to play hide, peek, and destroy!


Sox: What! No I don't! Look at me sitting here so calm and sweet on Daddy Bean's shelf! No destruction going on here!



And here I am checking out under Mommy Bean's desk. See how gently I move about her stuff. No destruction here!


I even come out when she sees me and calls me!
