November isn't a good Nanowrimo for me

Friday Fifteen

Fifteen Reasons November Isn't A Good Month For Nanowrimo (for me anyway)

My writing schedule gets screwed up because:

1. There are so many days off from school here in NJ--about half the month! Holidays, half-days, Thanksgiving holiday...

2. When there is no school, I spend more time playing with Tomas. Today we went to the library...had a great time there!

3. The weather is colder and my hands get achy

4. It's tempting to go spend the day taking pictures of the fall colors

5. It's time to get ready for the holiday season which means:

6. Thanksgiving dinner is an all day affair

7. The tree goes up the day after Thanksgiving

8. Then we have to decorate it and put up all the lights

9. Christmas shopping begins

10. Addressing Christmas cards begins

11. There's the school conferences with the teachers

12. There are holiday visitors to entertain

13. There are not enough days in November

14. There are too many days off from school which means extra doctor appointments, shopping trips, and otherwise entertaining or taking the kids places

15. There are not enough hours in the day!
