Feline Friday: Fun with the gang

Our buddy Sox is a sociable, lovable guy. It's so much fun to have a cuddly cat. We call him "Mr. Sociable" and recently heard his other nickname was "Mr. Man". Sometimes we get a jealous look from either Kosmo or Mouse and we always say, "Well, we'd cuddle with you guys too if you'd let us!" Here daughter Kristin is the chosen recipient of Sox's affections--for the moment.



Sox likes adventure and is always into everything. Sometimes he gets himself into quite a fix! I will post some pictures about that soon but meantime, remember the safe? He's also scooted out the door and so we have to make sure he's not nearby when we go in or out. No wonder he needs a belled collar and a tag with name and address!


Kosmo says: I'm not sleeping, you guys, I'm just protecting my eyes from those awful flashies!



Amber says, ya know, ma, you're letting the mess on the chair creep back. I'm almost off the cushion here. Isn't Friday cleaning and straightening up day?


Mouse says, ah, yes, Friday! It's the weekend and almost time to read all the wonderful carnivals going on around the blogging world!


Hey guys, check me out! says Sox. Hanging upside down is lots of fun! Try it, you'll like it!


Cubby says no thanks, I like to feel the earth NOT move under my feet!



Amber: (sniffs the air) Do I smell treats?



Cubby, Sox & Kosmo: Oh boy oh boy, Daddy's got the treats, Daddy's got the treats!
Amber (from the chair): Boys! Dignity, dignity. We cats can't show that kind of excitement over a treat!


Cubby: Yum yum gulp snarf gulp. Thanks for the advice Amber but I can live with a little indignity right now!

It's really cool that almost the whole gang congregates in here and basically gets along pretty well. The only one who doesn't join us is Indigo--oh well. There are hermits among us in the world, too, and that is okay!
