This is a wonderful picture because when we first brought Cubby home a few months ago, he wouldn't let anyone of us come near him and hid under the bed. Slowly he began to trust us. First he'd come out and look at us and let us look at him. Then he'd let us touch him, then stroke him. Always he'd take his fill and run back under the bed. Then he began spending more time out with us, sitting in front of the monitors or sleeping on the bed. Recently, he began to let me pick him up and hold him and now it's TB's turn to be trusted that well. Cubby's come a long way and he sure is one sweet little fellow!

That is wonderful. We have a stray cat that has been coming to our back porch to eat for almost a year and the other day when I opened the door with the cat food he ran towards me and then remembered that he was afraid and backed up. I can't wait until the day when he lets me touch him.

Cubby is really becoming brave! Or maybe just more comfortable and confident now that he has been home for a while.

Cubby
This is great that you are beginning to trust...we understand how you feel because after our first humans threw us out it was hard to trust our new Mom and Dad. But, we are sure glad we did because we've been so happy for the past four years.
