1. TB's pension check came early so I got a jump start on bills
2. Ah! Another break in the intense heat and humidity!
3. I felt well enough to get quite a bit done in the bedroom. Yay, break from intense heat!
4. A heart warming news story about a soldier in Afghanistan who was able to raise enough money to bring two canine pals home to the U.S. These dogs apparently had protected the unit from a terrorist who came armed to blow up 50 soldiers. The dogs were injured but have since recovered and are adjusting nicely to life in the US.
5. It was nice to hear from in-laws who just returned from a well earned vacation cruise and to talk about party plans for a family gathering next month!
