I taught Christmas was over wif! Uh...Boxing Day? What's dat?

Dey say it's my turn to wear dese ears! Halllllllllllp!

Oh no you didn't! What do you mean you want a piktur of all of us in dese ears?

No, I won't smile for the camera, are you kidding me?

I fink it's all over until next year, fank goodness!

Cubby sez, it's been so nice lately, I just lik to hang out where the sun is all shiny!

Kosmo sez, here Iyam hanging out with Kristin Bean. I gotta tellya, I don't get the way these beans sit! It's not comfable at all! Next time, I'll get Kristin to curl up like me. I think she'll like dat!

Cubby sez, would you believe TB Bean is sleeping in here too? He is totally covered by blankies to keep warm. I'm helping him stay nice and toasty too!

Munchkin sez, hey, where'd my bean go? I was all comfy cozy and snuggled up against her under the covers and then she woked up! Now she's takin pikturs! Stop that, Mommy Bean, and come back and snuggle!

Of course, when it's time for TB and I to get up and carry on, our feline friends still can find more snuggle buddies.

Indigo saw Kosmo enjoying the laundry hamper "bed" and decided to try it out for herself. She's made it her own now! For some reason, Mouse and Munchkin like to chase, torment and tease Indigo so she especially enjoys her new bed when it's half full. Why? Mouse and Munchkin can't see her and she can relax in peace!

Cats on Tuesday: Plans for the hottest (so far) day in July

CATS ON TUESDAY is a group of cat lovers who share pictures and/or stories about their cats once a week, hosted by Gattina.



So today is supposed to be the hottest, most humid day of the summer (so far). With the heat index, it could feel like 105. My plans are to stay inside as much as possible, in the air conditioning, and not move around very much. This morning, I saw that the gang was already getting busy with their plans for the day.

Munchkin decided to make use of my younger daughter's laptop and check out Facebook. She's addicted to Farmville and loves to collect the animals!

Mouse sez to Kosmo, You needs a baff!
Kosmo: No, I don't!
Kosmo: Yes, you do and I'm gonna help give you one whether you want it or not!

Mouse: Aw, fugged aboud it! It's too hot for a baff anyway!

Amber: I'll just chill out here and look boo-tee-ful.

Cubby: Dis looks like a good book. I fink I'll sit on Mom's lap while she reads it to me.

Indigo says, well, I fink I got the bestest idea yet!

I'm going to relax on this nice soft comforter right under the air conditioner. I'm the coolest!

Mouse sez, "There's shur been a lot of excitement around here lately! Munchie, didja hear what happened between Kosmo and the Cone Monster?"


Munchie: "I shur did! Kosmo's my hero!"


Munchie: "That was enough excitement for a week! Amber and Indy are still laffin their tails off! Well, Mommy shur needed a break from all that stress. 'Twas good to hear hers laffin so hard! Hey, where's Cubby?"


Cubby: "Here I yam...Achoo! Achoo! I bin sneezin all weekend. Why do us cats sneeze so hard alla sudden?"

Cats on Tuesday: New Kids On The Block

Kosmo sez, Hey who are those two new guys coming in here and hanging out with our Mom and Dad Beans?



Mouse sez, Ya know, I was wondrin' about that. I keep seeing myself and I know we don't have that many mirrors!



Sox sez, Hi, guys, my name is Sox and I want to be friends! Mousie, you and I are a little different because I've got a little white angel's kiss on my nose! My mom bean was sick for a long long time and then something happened and she went away. There was a Teen Bean but he had to go somewhere called "college" and for a while Neighbor Beans and Friend Beans took care of me and Cubby but it was getting dangerous for us to be all alone in the house. We are very happy that Cassie and TB Bean liked us and took us home.


Indigo sez, Hey, wait a minute, I'm the Orphan here and where is Cubby anyway?



Sox sez, Maybe we can be friends? We know what it's like to miss someone we loved. And Cubby is hiding. He is very shy and all of this has been a lot for him to handle. He really loved our first Mom Bean and then we were alone and then we had to go to a shelter--even though the shelter volunteers loved us up and we didn't have to worry about being put down, it was still different. And now we are here where there are 7 to love us and four other kittys plus a woofie and a bun. That's a lot to handle.



Mousie sez, well, I am an orphan too and I already like Sox a little but I wonder if Mom and Dad Bean have enough love for all of us?



Mom and Dad Bean say, don't worry, gang, the more there are to love, the more love we find in our hearts.



We have more than enough love to go around for everykitty and everywoofy and everybun and everyone.
